Did you know that there are nearly 5 million Air BNB listings worldwide?
Do you have a spare room or even a spare apartment/house? Have you been considering renting out your extra space as an Air BNB?
In this blog, we are going to highlight and address 4 things that your paying guests may review negatively when renting from you in the hope that you never receive a bad review.
1. If you have a house pet – you must mention this in your listing. Ensure that the room or property is correctly cleaned and aerated making sure that you pay attention to under the furniture and bedding. Also, don’t forget to put the cat litter out of immediate sight.
2. Dust gets everywhere – remember to dust where the eyes cannot see. Above the door frames, on the top of the TV, air vents and of course, shelves, don’t dust around, dust under!
3. Less is more – declutter not only the space that your guests are renting but your home in general if they are sharing space. Clutter can cause stress and anxiety and will not make a relaxing break.
4. Another clutter point is paperwork and mail. Don’t leave yours lying around. Prioritise it, organise it, file it or recycle it.
